Author's Comments:

As said before, Jupiter has a huge blind spot for his family--that includes his fellow cops. It can be said it's a learned behavior that he can't forget because he loved his wife so dearly (and robots never forget!).

And now we know what Jupiter was thinking about telling Otto way back in chapter three (PG36), and why seeing Otto brings regret to mind.

So! I know there's been a theory going out amongst the readers that Otto is related to Saturn/Barbara in some way. Well, if it isn't obvious by now; no--they're not related. Their only connection is through Otto's father... which I think is the much more impactful climax.

User's Comments:

Such a poignant scene...I'm feeling Otto's pain.

But also I feel such admiration for Jupiter's humility and compassion.

I only hope this "Eh-Aye" that the tech industry is developing will have the same qualities.

@Kevin_Redcrow: Thanks!

That explains why he followed Otto's career and accomplishments so closely.

Maybe Jupiter will see things differently now.

Oh. My. Goodness. I just devoured the entire archive in a night, because I couldn't stop reading. Only to end on this cliffhanger!!
The revelation that Snr Wilcox was a cop was definitely the biggest shock.

I followed 'May the Rain Come', but didn't end up sticking with Jupiter at first. I really don't understand why I didn't, it's amazing.

I've always loved your style, and I love that you've developed it further but still kept it distinct.
I just want to gush and gush xx
But I'll spread the gushing out instead, and just leave it as; I'm glad I gave 'Jupiter' another read, I'm hooked and can't wait to see where it's going :)

@SKitFox: Thanks! And I'm glad you've enjoyed catching up!
