And that's how Otto made a baby Blue! Jupiter seems pleased with his progeny.

It is a little odd how forthcoming and giving Jupiter is to Otto, though. I mean, they barely know each other!

Though they barely know one another, Otto's mannerisms with other people seem to prevent him from connecting on a personal level. Something about Otto and his life, if he discussed in the time of Jupiter's repair, could have clicked with him.

Jupiter has been around for a very long time. I would imagine his judge of character is superb after years of studying, learning and adapting.

I love this comic! It's fun to think about the why's. :)

Nikola Tesla makes sense, he was a brilliant mind ahead of his time. That said he was a terrible businessman. He was also great at problem solving. Tesla literally tore up his contract with Westinghouse in front of the man and told him he was no longer restricted by the contract so the man wouldn't be losing money and inhibited by the contract. Edison told Tesla he couldn't use the screw in bulb (one of Edison's patents) when Tesla and Westinghouse were awarded the grant to light up the first electric world's fair (which Westinghouse won by underbidding the competition and saying he could provide electricity for a fraction of the competition's price)and as result Tesla created the system we use for florescent lights (also his invention by the way, that's right the world's first electric world fair was lit by florescent bulbs, think about that for a moment). Tesla was the man that pioneered the Alternating Current system, which is now the world standard in electricity. He was working on wireless energy transference (also called broadcast energy) when his labs went bankrupt due to short sighted investors that were more about the money than the advancement. Tesla was a proud socialist, and proclaimed it. He was a man who thought of the people and as a result made less money because he practically handed out his greatest inventions to people on the street. In short Tesla was great man that deserves more attention.
