He works in a pretty average building. When you think about it, most scientists work in real average looking places.
Is that room cold? Because it looks it. You should try to make the room a different colour if the place is well heated. Also, lots of glassy surfaces makes the place seem both fragile and cold. Not that there is much glass in this room but, just a little tip.
